Harry and the Potters discography

In reply to your expansion of Harry and the Potters discography. Now, I am by no means an expert on discographies or experienced in any music articles but the Live Releases section seems to me just to be a list of live performances they've done at mostly a variety of libraries...? But it does say they've been recorded elsewhere. Can you please explain? •97198 talk 01:35, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Wait, sorry, misunderstanding. I've slashed a comment from above. But still, is it just me or is this just a list of all the live performances they've done? (Even if an audio recording has been released - that's my understanding.) •97198 talk 01:37, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Again, I stress that I have minimal experience in music articles and particularly discographies but looking at all the other FL discographies there doesn't seem to be any other list with a similar section (leading me to think that this may not ought to be included). There are many sections listing live albums, however those seem to have been more "official" having been released on CD format and having recorded chart numbers. May consult someone with more "expertise"? At the moment I don't feel that I could support or oppose a second FLC nom as I am just not sure about the added section. •97198 talk 05:27, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

I don't think you should really add a list of NN live recordings simply for the sake of padding the article so it can make FL status. -- Scorpion0422 02:02, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Internecine project.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Internecine project.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 18:27, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Discography edits

Thanks for some of your edits to a few of my discographies. I just wanted to let you that "various artists" should be un-capitalized, since it is not a proper noun (no one is called "Various Artists", that's just a phrase). No big deal, just wanted to point that out. Anyways, thanks again. Drewcifer (talk) 11:39, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/Harry and the Potters discography

Maybe things will go OK...anyway, you might want to read User:Giano/A fool's guide to writing a featured article which is quite good and funny. Cheers! Wassupwestcoast (talk) 00:46, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

No problem. It appears as though the articles were successfully deleted and the AfD nominations closed. Billscottbob (talk) 02:50, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Wzrockepclublogo2007.PNG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Wzrockepclublogo2007.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 10:51, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Your comments

this comment is out of line. Both users are opposing the list based on 1a3, which states "contains a finite, complete and well-defined set of items that naturally fit together to form a significant topic of study" and they believe that it is not a significant topic of study as it is a fairly unknown band (and even a bit on the crufty side) which is a perfectly valid reason to oppose an article. Please do not ask closers to ignore comments again. -- Scorpion0422 01:13, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Elvis chart stats

Hi! There are plenty of books listing Presley's charting history in various countries, but try googling "Elvis chart statistics", several times, each time adding the name of desired country and the word "album" or "singles", and you will find at least some of the info you require. The stats for his film soundtracks might be on separate sites. I haven't found one convenient site for all this information, which is a pain - but happy hunting! AfD nomination of Harry and the Potters' split 7" with the Zambonis

An editor has nominated Harry and the Potters' split 7" with the Zambonis, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Harry and the Potters' split 7" with the Zambonis and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 00:59, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
