This would have been taken for ASA in 1936 or thereabouts. NO copyright notice is visible on the picture, and it is extremely unlikely that the copyright was renewed, but even so I asked and ASA replied with the following:

The American Sociological Association does own the rights to the ASA presidential images. We do allow use of those images as long as they credit the source as: "Courtesy of the American Sociological Association".
