Template talk:HPBooks

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The infobox seems a good place to help increase continuity among HP book articles. I noticed that all of the articles (with the somewhat exception of HBP) feature the British cover in the infobox and the American cover floating somewhere within the article. Therefore, I think that it would make sense to have a spot for both of these covers, and possibly the British Adult cover, within the infobox template. Input requested. I disagree; the infobox should only have one image. The article should probably have others, if they're important. —wwoods 19:56, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
I can see what you're saying, but the articles do have multiple images, which, as I said, are located randomly throughout. My suggestion is in accordance with #4 of the WikiProject Harry Potter to-do list. If coding allows this, I think that two side-by-side thumbnails of the British and American covers would be one step in giving "consistent styling." On this note, I think it would be a good idea to leave each non-English cover only on its respective page in that language, i.e. the French cover of CoS should only be on the French Wikipedia article. Since there are multiple covers for the English version of the books, it would make sense to have a standardized way of featuring them. -Phi*n!x 00:09, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
