The HP LaserJet 2400 series is the replacement for the HP LaserJet 2300 series.

The HP LaserJet 2400 series consists of the following models:

• HP LaserJet 2410 Printer
• HP LaserJet 2420 Printer
• HP LaserJet 2420d Printer
• HP LaserJet 2420dn Printer
• HP LaserJet 2420n Printer
• HP LaserJet 2430 Printer
• HP LaserJet 2430dtn Printer
• HP LaserJet 2430n Printer
• HP LaserJet 2430t Printer
• HP LaserJet 2430tn Printer

The letters at the end of the model have the following meaning:

• d - this model comes with an automatic duplexer
• t - this model comes with an additional tray
• n - this model comes with an internal 10/100 Base-T JetDirect card

Models that have multiple letters will have all the options for those letters. For example the LaserJet 2430dtn has a duplexer, and extra tray and an internal 10/100 Base-T JetDirect card.

[edit] Print speed

The last 2 digits of the model number for this series indicate the speed in pages per minute (ppm) for the model. For example the LaserJet 2410 prints at 10 ppm and the LaserJet 2420 prints at 20ppm

This printer has been discontinued by the manufacturer. The replacement is the HP LaserJet P3000 series.
