[edit] Summary
An image of Ikkaku Madarame's zanpakutō, Hōzukimaru, from Tite Kubo's Bleach anime.
This image is used under fair use in the article Ikkaku Madarame for the purposes of illustration and commentary. Specifically, it is present to demonstrate the appearance of Ikkaku's zanpakutō, an object whose physical design is not feasibly communicated through text alone. No free substitute can be constructed as Bleach is a licensed property, the image is of a minimal resolution, and use of this image does not interfere with the commercial value of the Bleach franchise.
[edit] Licensing
This image is a screenshot of a copyrighted television program or station ID. As such, the copyright for it is most likely owned by the company or corporation that produced it. It is believed that the use of a limited number of web-resolution screenshots
qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, might be copyright infringement. For more information, see Wikipedia:Non-free content. |
