Talk:Hoya de Huesca/Plana de Uesca
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The official name it isn't "Hoya de Huesca", but "Hoya de Huesca/Plana de Uesca" [1]. There's no name given by Spanish government because Comarcas of Aragon are only responsibility of the Government of Aragon. In the BOA (Boletín Oficial de Aragón, Official Bulletin of Aragón) 27/2002 law of 26th november appeared the law of the creation of the comarca (here) Chapter 1 (capitulo 1) Artículo 1.—Creación y denominación. (Articulo 1.-Creation and denomination) that said "Se crea la Comarca de Hoya de Huesca/Plana de Uesca". So I think if the criteria is to use the official name both Hoya de Huesca and Plana de Uesca are official names, but I think Plana de Uesca is much better being the name of its vernacular language. --Willtron (?) 20:43, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
