Hoyle's Agar

Hoyle's Agar is a selective media that uses tellurite to differentially select Corynebacterium diphtheriae from other URT flora.

  • Hoyle's tellurite agar contains:
Proteose Peptone 10g/l
Beef extract 10g/l
Sodium chloride 5g/l
Blood, laked
tellurite 3.5g/l
Agar 15g/l
