[edit] re: So how did you find out about this?

Pure chance really... I've edited a very large number of articles for minor formatting issues, and regularly refresh my watchlist, either looking for vandalism, reverts of my edits, or new and better ways of doing things. An article I had edited, Vinay Katiyar‎, had been edited by "ClaimJumperJack"; the "ClaimJumperPete" variant of the same, uh, "personality" was very memorable from last May (again, he had edited something I had just worked on), so I checked and sure enough, same damn thing. I think he's got some sort of territory marking obsession, actually. Studerby 23:36, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

That's the problem with him. Some of his edits are helpful, most aren't. One of the usernames he used a long tome ago was that of his mom's e-mail. I'd actually made successful contact with her. She told me he's an autistic teenager and that she monitors his internet time, but she is possibly unaware of the extent of the damage he causes. Once he creates a sock, he'll never return to it. That's why I left the message I did. Doesn't take much to scare him off and he'll be back with yet another fanciful username before long. Hope this explains why I came down so hard. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 20:09, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Nope, no such luck. That guy is a genuine whack job. He comes on with that feigned written accent of his, gets his kicks, gets blocked and keeps coming back like the idiot he is. Shows you what kind of sickos there are on the internet. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 20:17, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Once, in his inimitable fashion, he offered to stop vandalizing the site in exchange for the unblock of his main account. Guess that didn't go over so well, so he was refused. The original account simply ad no positive contributions. I haven't had a lot of interaction with him myself, thank goodness, but his naming conventions are pretty obvious ahnd alarm bells in my head went off when I saw the name on the recent changes page. AFAIK, he just does it for the attention here on a worldwide stage. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 02:15, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

So, ClaimJumperPete, nice work phishing. Idiot. You do realize Checkusers now have your school IP, and could contact your school at any time? Nwwaew (Talk Page) (Contribs) (E-mail me) 14:47, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
