Does anybody have sources for Howth Head originally being an island? Either historical or geological would be acceptable.

Is there any WP benefit in listing a context-less date like this? The high visibility isn't confirmed in documented evidence or photos, and it appears to be unrelated to any other events on that day. Thus, the value of the info is virtually nil. JXM 15:19, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
