Howard Winant is a widely published and respected sociologist and a major race theorist. Google and Google Scholar cite a huge number of references.Canticle 08:30, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Agreed, it would be a good idea to make that assertion in the original article, and also to add an appropriate stub template. Perel 16:46, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
