[edit] Yushchenko's Comments

"He also recommended the adoption of newer software (a possible reference to the existence of KDE3 at the time)"

It seems more likely that he is aware of the original transcript, as this was the original reply. (This transcript is linked at the bottom of the page). The first response says that KDE2 is deprecated and that 3.x are fashionable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.187.202.205 (talk) 21:46, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] An answer

Perhaps worth noting, when installing KDE (any version) via FreeBSD's ports system (e.g.: "cd /usr/ports/x11-wm/kde2 && make install clean"), the patches are automatically applied by the system. "Much ado about nothing", I believe, is the old axiom? Renaissongsman (talk) 23:46, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:2007-06-08.Screenshot of an e.gov.kz web-page, depicting a question on patching KDE under FreeBSD.PNG

Image:2007-06-08.Screenshot of an e.gov.kz web-page, depicting a question on patching KDE under FreeBSD.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Notability

I'm removing the tag complaining of lack notability. This seems notable and interesting to me, given how popular the meme is and that it involved the leaders of various countries. -- Beland (talk) 20:27, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Peacock terms

I've removed the template complaining of the use of peacock terms. Can the user who inserted it please point out where these terms are being used? --Bowlhover (talk) 20:35, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
