1. No free equivalent. Nothing other than the company logo can take this place in the article. This is the logo chosen by the company to represent itself to the public.
2. Respect for commercial opportunities. Use of this logo will not in any way obstruct commercial endeavors by Howard Miller Co. In fact, the use of the logo in this article will allow Howard Miller's brand to be reinforced. Most importantly, Howard Miller is a clock company. No mistake can be made that use of this logo in an encyclopedia article infringed upon Howard Miller's right to enjoy exclusive use of its brand in the clock business.
3. (a) Minimal usage. The logo is used exactly once, in the article about the company that the logo represents.
(b) Minimal extent of use. Low-resolution image is the bare minimum necessary to fulfill the encyclopedic requirement.
4. Previous publication. This logo is inscribed upon every clock face turned out under the Howard Miller name, it is on the company website, on promotional materials, and is no secret.
5. Content. Encyclopedic content meets content guidelines.
6. Media-specific policy. Use of media conforms with Wikipedia policies and guidelines.
7. One-article minimum. Image is used in one article.
8. Significance. Omission of this image would be detrimental to the article's usefulness because the image emblazons upon the mind of the reader the logo by which Howard Miller products may be readily recognized in the marketplace and in casual examination for non-market purposes.
9. Restrictions on location. Image is used only in article namespace.
