Howie Johnson

Howie Johnson (born c. 1930) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Senior PGA Tour.
Johnson joined the PGA Tour in 1956 and had two victories.[1] He won his first Tour event at the 1958 Azalea Open in a playoff with Arnold Palmer. His best finish in a major was T-12 at the 1970 U.S. Open.[2] He joined the Senior PGA Tour in 1980.
Johnson lives in Rancho Mirage, California. His son, Howie, Jr., plays on the Nationwide Tour.
