Howick Historical Village

Howick Historical Village is a recreation of a New Zealand colonial village using houses and cottages saved from the surrounding area of Howick, New Zealand.

There is an admission fee for entry and they regularly have volunteers, including a children's group, dressing up in period costume to bring the exhibits to life.

• The village was featured in the 3rd episode of The Amazing Race Asia 2 where teams had to use digital cameras to take pictures of 3 of New Zealand cultural characters.
