Howard James Twilley, (born December 25, 1943 in Houston, Texas, U.S.), was the 1965 Heisman Trophy Runner-Up at the University of Tulsa and a former professional American football wide receiver with the American Football League's Miami Dolphins and the NFL's Dolphins. He was a member of the 1972 Dolphins' perfect season, and NFL Championship team. In 1992 he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame
Twilley finished his NFL career with 212 receptions for 3,064 yards and 23 touchdowns. He also caught a 28-yard touchdown pass in the Dolphins Super Bowl VII win over the Washington Redskins.
Twilley played high school football at Galena Park High School in Galena Park, Texas.
