Howard Major Buckley (23 January 1863–2 July 1941), was a United States Marine private awarded the Medal of Honor for actions during the Philippine Insurrection. He was one of three Marines attached to the 8th U.S. Army for the Insurrection. Buckley was awarded the medal for actions on March 25, 27, and 29 and April 4, 1899.[1]
