Howard Kotton

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Howard Kotton is a Melbourne-based journalist who works as a sub-editor/writer for Geoff Slattery Publishing.

His work is published in the AFL Record. He also works for Inside Football magazine.

His after-match interviews can be heard on Melbourne radio station Sport 927.

Before working with Geoff Slattery Publishing, Kotton, born May 6, 1959, worked with the Herald Sun for more than 20 years as a sub-editor/writer. He has also worked as a researcher/reporter on TV with Channel 7 on Talking Footy and The Game, as well as various magazines and internet-based projects.

Kotton is also the co-author of two football books, Rhys, on the career of former Carlton and Sydney hardman David Rhys-Jones, and Fool Forward on the antics of former high-flying Sydney Swan and Brisbane Bear Warwick Capper.

Kotton, a shameless self-promoter, wears a perpetual shite-eating grin.

He is passionate in his support for the Navy Blue Baggers, where he is regarded as a serial pest. It is his stated ambition to have several children by Carlton captain Chris Judd.
