[edit] Schedule

Like all other Howard County high schools, Howard High has a yearlong schedule that provides students with the opportunity to earn seven credits. Prior to Fall 2002, Howard High was one of three schools that used a semester schedule (Long Reach and River Hill were the other two). Students attended four ninety-minute classes each day for 90 school days, and then four new classes for the remaining 90 days of the school year. Each semester was broken up into three, 30-day marking periods. The semester schdule is no longer in effect at any of these schools.
