Howard Choi

Howard Choi MD MPH is a Korean-American physiatrist and the principal editor of a popular PM&R handbook, PM&R Pocketpedia. A companion work, Pain Medicine Pocketpedia, is currently in the works.

After completing a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2001, Dr. Choi completed additional training as a clinical fellow in spinal cord injury medicine at VA Boston Healthcare System/Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Choi is currently an Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.[1]

Among his interests, Dr. Choi is studying application of high technology to improve the mobility and health problems of individuals with spinal cord injury and other major disabilities.
