Howard Butcher

Howard Butcher is a South African based music producer who's contribution to the development of contemporary music in that country includes productions for Oddenjinears,[1] Lancaster Band,[2] Jam Mecca,Tristan Waterkeyn,[3] Steve Newman,Wendy Oldfield,[4] Off Shore,[5] Silapha and many others. A bass player who’s production skills were largely influenced by analogue recording techniques he is also a renown field guide that specializes in bird-call recognition.

He is the principal engineer for Peace of Eden Recording Studio [6] based in Knysna on the Garden Route of South Africa. Peace of Eden pioneered the vacation-recording concept in South Africa and the facility specializes in productions for various local and international artistes.
