Howard Bay

Howard Bay (67°28′S, 61°4′E) is a 3.2 km (2 mi) wide, body of water between Byrd Head and Ufs Island in Antarctica. Its discovery in February 1931 was by British Australian New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (BANZARE) under Douglas Mawson. It was named by Mawson after A. Howard, the expedition's hydrologist.
