How Wood is a village situated between the towns of Watford and St Albans in Hertfordshire, England. Although the area was once part of Park Street, as the residential community has expanded, it has gained a reputation as a different area.
Within How Wood there is a row of shops including a Co-op. The village has its own railway station, on the St Albans Branch Line, linking it with St Albans Abbey and Watford Junction railway stations.
How Wood has a primary school, How Wood Primary School and nearby there is Park Street Primary School.
