How Do I Deal is a song by Jennifer Love Hewitt for the I Still Know What You Did Last Summer soundtrack that was released as a single January 1999 with an accompanying music video, following the movie's moderately successful run in the US. The single has become Hewitt's one and only appearance on the Hot 100. During the first week of February, it debuted at #65 and held the position for two more weeks. A week later it peaked at #59, then fell off the chart 4 weeks later.[1] Although not a huge success in America, the single peaked at #8 in Australia, earning Hewitt a pop star title there.
