How Can We Be Silent is the third studio album from BarlowGirl. It was released on July 24, 2007. The CD came with a free bonus CD. The CD was also released in a special edition format that comes with a DVD that features all three of their music videos, over 90 minutes of bonus footage, and personal interviews with the three girls.
The album debuted at number 40 on the U.S. Billboard 200, and number one on the Billboard Christian chart, selling about 18,000 copies in its first week.[1]
The album fell from #40 in week 1, to #99 in week 2, selling 7,000 copies that week, selling a total of 25,000.

Before the album's release, a free preview of How Can We Be Silent was available at HaveYouHeardTheWord.com. Beginning May 21, a new song was added every Monday leading up to the official release.
