Hovin, Sør-Trøndelag

Hovin is a village in the municipality of Melhus, Norway. It is located between Støren and Lundamo. Its population (SSB 2005) is 588.
Hovin have a train station on [[Dovrebanen], but only used for local traffic. Hovin have several distinct terraces in the hillsides, which is remnants of old shorelines following the end of the ice age.
