[edit] Your move of Chicago

I have reverted your move of the Chicago article to "Chicago, Illinois". You may not be aware of this, but the long-term consensus among editors has been to keep the article at "Chicago". In addition, you moved the page without any explanation or discussion. If you still want the title to be "Chicago, Illinois", please start a discussion via Wikipedia:Requested moves. szyslak 00:51, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Short articles on tall buildings

Hi. I noticed you've been creating some rather stubby articles on skyscrapers and other buildings. While it's better to have short articles than no articles at all, some of the articles you're creating provide no context to the reader. For example, Alaska Building in Seattle doesn't say anything about where it's located, what it was originally used for, or what it's currently used for. Also, it isn't located in any category (such as Category:Buildings and structures in Seattle), so it's hard to find the article.

Would you be willing to add a little more information to the articles when you create them? That way, other editors can expand on the articles. Structurae and Emporis are good places to find some of the basic information. If you can fill in a little more information about these buildings, it'll make it easier for readers and other editors. Thanks. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 17:23, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Would you please start adding references, infoboxes and categorys to your articles? It would really improve your articles and decrease there chances of being nominated for deletion. Also it would make them a lot easier to improve. Alaskan assassin (talk) 23:03, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
You may want to see Wikipedia:WikiProject_Skyscrapers/Articles#Example. Cheers. Trance addict - Tiesto - Above and Beyond 18:52, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
That example and the description preceding the sample will show you the basics of a skyscraper / highrise article. Cheers. Trance addict - Tiesto - Above and Beyond 18:53, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
As a note: List of tallest buildings in San Diego, List of tallest buildings in Las Vegas, and List of tallest buildings in Bellevue, Washington have too many redlinks. If you have the time, consider creating articles for buildings in those cities. Cheers. Trance addict - Tiesto - Above and Beyond 19:26, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] References needed for Barnett National Bank Building

Your recent contribution(s) to the Wikipedia article Barnett National Bank Building are very much appreciated. However, you did not provide references or sources for your information. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a drive to improve the quality of Wikipedia by encouraging editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. If sources are left unreferenced, it may count as original research, which is not allowed. Can you provide in the article specific references to any books, articles, websites or other reliable sources that will allow people to verify the content in the article? You can use a citation method listed at How to cite sources. Thanks! • Gene93k (talk) 01:31, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Timeline of tallest buildings

Houstontowers, I noticed that you have made many edits concerning buildings that were at one time the tallest in the city or state. I was wondering if you could have a look at List of tallest buildings in the United States#Timeline of tallest buildings, where there is a list of buildings that once stood as the tallest in the United States. I used SkyscraperPage diagrams to create the timeline, but I believe that there are some errors. I explained by concerns at Talk:List of tallest buildings in the United States#Timeline. I would be grateful if you could make any necessary changes. Thank you. Leitmanp (talk | contributions) 00:47, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
