[edit] NLDS page
Please stop reverting. --Holderca1 20:20, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- Um, no it isn't. See 2005 World Series, among others. The template looks a lot cleaner, and it is much easier to update if the game goes in extra innings, all you have to changed is the template name from 9 to a 10, or 11, ect... And just because it is what is on most other line scores is not a valid reason to change it back. It is just that all the others haven't been updated yet. If we used that logic we would still be riding horses around, why use a car when everyone had a horse. --Holderca1 20:25, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- Whatever floats your boat, I will just revert it back. Don't be surprised if you are blocked for violating WP:3RR either. The template is easier to use, if you have a problem with the way it looks, make a suggestion. --Holderca1 21:40, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- Lol, that was sarcasm in response to your childish behavior. "Fine how bout this. You do it your way but when the series is over I'm reverting it back." I didn't threaten to block you, I don't have power. I was just warning you of your behavior. --Holderca1 23:02, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hey no problem, water under the bridge. --Holderca1 04:33, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WP:3RR
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you.--Holderca1 21:44, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 64TeamBracket
How do you use the 64 team template? The instructions are linked to the 16 team tournament and I seem to get repeating brackets. You can look here to see what's wrong with my brackets. Kingjeff 00:26, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Texas High School 5-A Football
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Texas High School 5-A Football, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. [edit] Houston/Chicago game
Hey. I was just wondering why you changed the Astros game log so now it doesn't say when the game is supposed to be made up. Why are the Astros contesting this? Ksy92003 00:32, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wild Card Templates
Can you please tell us at Wikiproject Baseball why we need a Wild Card Template two weeks into the season? In late August, yeah, sure, not now. The last place team could win. Hornberry 23:05, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Astros Division Ranks
It is very important that each team's Wikipedia game log be consistent, and unless you're willing to go around editing the logs of all 30 teams, we would rather if there was no division placements on the Astros' log. Plus, the standings take up valuable horizontal space that the log pages do not have; when a column is added, it compresses the other columns and sometimes causes some of the columns to overflow onto a second line, making the log look really ugly.
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:HOU 1092.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:HOU 1092.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Durin 15:54, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Astros history
The point is to save all the detailed stuff that people have contributed, but to make the history section on the main article more concise. See how other FAs have done it with Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, and Arsenal F.C. to see what I mean.Timpcrk87 05:58, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Biggio 2989.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Biggio 2989.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:06, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked
You have been blocked for your continued violations of WP:FU, most recently on Hugh Laurie. Please take this time to read and understand our fair-use policy. Thanks. --Yamla 23:32, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
What?!?! it is an actual picture of High Laurie that has already been added to wikipedia. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:House_-_Gregory_House.jpg#Fair_use_rationale And I have not done anything recently to violate the WP:FU. I am learning. I understand that it is only temporary but that is messed up.
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:2005 home run derby.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:2005 home run derby.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:42, 4 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. OsamaKBOT 21:42, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, which wasn't included with your recent edit to 3000 hit club. Thank you. MBK004 23:05, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as in Talk:3000 hit club, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. MBK004 19:02, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Thank you. Jmlk17 04:42, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 2008 Houston Astros season game log
Hi, I am not sure how familiar you are with wikipedia but these are not your game logs or articles. We have had several lengthy discussions at WikiProject Baseball about these game logs, and have agreed that they will be editable on the articles until they are completely finished (at the end of the season), and then they will be moved onto a template. You may change the colors back to the way they were, but please do not do anything more than that. Hope this helps :) jj137 (Talk) 16:26, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Templates
Hi. Do you think it is a good idea to have a chart of, for instance, how the Giants do against the Pirates on the Dodgers article? If you look at the 2008 Dodgers season, you will see the record vs opposing teams has this information.
Thanks.
