Seriously, was that synopsis written by an eight year old? --Ytookay 19:14, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

That synopsis really needs trimming. I want to have an idea what the film is about and its plot, not an exact scene-by-scene description. Somebody who has seen the film should take up the job.

This is a decent write up from the BBC.

poo== The credits... ==

Does anybody know the song at the end? I do, and I think it should be added in this article.

[edit] Paris Hilton Album list

Why is this section in? Her 'singing' is nothing to do with the film. Just poor acting but that is covered. It has no need to be there.

[edit] Synopsis

I commented out the last part of the synopsis; it was poorly written, and filled with unnecessary spoilers. Re-add it if you disagree. -User:Elizabennet | talk 04:03, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

Did somebody get that synopsis off the back of the DVD box, wtf mates?

The synopsis is awful. I think it should be deleted and completely re-written.

Agreed. Delete it and start over. Tool2Die4 (talk) 20:54, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
It's also wrong. I'm watching the movie right now (as I'm writing) and the synopsis given in the entry is completely inaccurate. If I could be bothered, I'd re-write it myself but I'm not enjoying the movie enough to care. 203.211.72.105 (talk) 09:58, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

I had a go at rewriting the synopsys, but I feel it's now too LONG! And I don't think it really matters whether there's spoilers. This is an encyclopaedia, we want to record what happens in the film, not worry about some hypothetical spectator's viewing pleasure. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.97.110.64 (talk) 09:02, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Christ, man, can we set an age limit on who can make synopses? Anyone below 15 CANNOT write fucking synopses. It's fucking awful, the grammar is atrocious, and it's just one big rambling paragraph. AndarielHalo (talk) 15:56, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] MCR Fanboy

I'm sorry if it was the user below that did this, but the added section "Music" shouldn't be on this page. The section had two sentences, which highlighted the two My Chemical Romance songs in the movie. 24.190.20.205 16:27, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject class rating

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 19:22, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:House of Wax poster.JPG

Image:House of Wax poster.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
