Talk:House of Loreius Tiburtinus

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is quite an interesting topic. Might I suggest a few minor corrections to make the page a little more accessible:

1) "gardens" is misspelled in the first section.

2) Try making "August 24" and "AD 79" separate internal links.

3) "abundance" is misspelled.

4) Try to space out the images more evenly, or at least try to make it so that both pictures don't appear for the same section.

'It would have been a pleasant place to live.' I don't think this is needed or appropriate. One of your images doesn't work anymore. If it isn't too much work, could you expand on 'the technology called castellum plumbeum'? If not I would suggest leaving the last sentence out of this article.

I think that this is an interesting article. The main change I would make is to cite your sources in the article instead of only at the end. If you go the the tutorial page and then follow the cheatsheet link and then the Help:editing link (at the bottom of the page), you should see a footnote link on the right of the page, which explains how to do this. Also, "receive" is spelled wrong in the second paragraph of the "History" section. I like how you broke your article into sections, and I like the pictures you used.

[edit] Tronchin dissertation

I am the author of the dissertation 'An Eclectic Locus Artis: The Casa di Octavius Quartio at Pompeii.' Although I currently teach at the Ohio State University, my dissertation is from Boston University and should be dated 2006. Please change the citation. --Francesca C.
