[edit] ÿ
Use of this letter should be consistent all throughout the article. Charles 18:09, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- I shall make a couple of changes withing several hours, then unlock the article and you may implement your proposal, ok? --Ghirla -трёп- 06:58, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pronunciation
Very interesting article. What is the correct pronunciation of the name Croÿ? Mraj 13:56, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- I believe the correct pronunciation is "Crua" (Russian: Круа), no? --Ghirla -трёп- 14:06, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- Can someone who knows add it - the spelling is unusual enough to warrant this. Bazza 14:56, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Charles I de Croÿ (1522-31)
Can someone find correct dates and info for this guy. Was he alive when his father, Philippe II de Croÿ (1496 - 1549), died. Was this guy married when he died at age nine? Cafe Nervosa 21:50, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- I have the following info: Charles de Croÿ, Duke of Aerschot, Prince of Chimay (July 31, 1522 - June 24, 1551), married firstly on Feb 20, 1542 to Louise of Lorraine (1521-1542) and secondly on December 1, 1549 to Antoinette of Burgundy (1529-1588). Charles 22:58, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Beer
They have their own brand of beer! [1] There's also drinking songs (in Dutch) at that site. Wow, just wow. Phr 06:14, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Divide page up to allow pages for separate individuals?
There are several individuals (e.g. Antoine Le Grand) who redirect to this page. While it is obviously useful to have a page dealing with the house as a whole, it seems to me that there should be one page per person. Dsp13 14:41, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- If you are willing to write the new informative, full-scale article about Antoine, you are welcome. Philipe de Croÿ, Duke of Aerschot is an example of how this may be effected. If you intend to mechanically pillage this page by splitting it into sundry pitiful stubs, please don't. --Ghirla -трёп- 17:38, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
