[edit] Talk

Yeesh... sounds like fun. This why I don't watch horror movies (except Jeepers Creepers - that was hilarious!). Scott Burley 06:11, 4 May 2004 (UTC)

where does theis movie take place? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.197.74.43 (talk • contribs) 04:10, 4 June 2006

In the fictional town of Ruggsville, Texas.--CyberGhostface (talk) 18:03, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

The official cite doesn't seem to work. Avjoska 12:47, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Musician vs. "heavy metalist"

In case anyone is offended, I changed the obtuse phrase "heavy metalist" used to describe Rob Zombie to "musician" because firstly, I've never heard the phrase heavy metalist used in my life, and secondly, calling Rob Zombie's music heavy metal is debatable. I don't mean it as a slight to him or his music, but a case could be made that it's not heavy metal. It definitely is music, though, so I think that "musician" is a better word to use. [edit] Problems with the article

This article comes off as a fan tribute page to the extreme and many portions of it are quite redundant. I'm extremely new when it comes to contributing to Wikipedia articles, which is why I don't fix a lot of this page myself. But in the future I’ll do what I can to fix it.Red VonMunster 03:47, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

I'll put a POV tag on it for now.--CyberGhostface 04:17, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
I just took a quick look at it, but I didn't notice too many problems. It does go rather indepth, but besides that, I didn't see that many POV statements. It even goes on to describe how it was panned by most of the critics.--CyberGhostface 04:19, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

That's cool, from what I've seen you know what you're doin.Red VonMunster 04:33, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

I actually haven't edited this article much at all so I don't really have much investment in it. If you or anyone else wants to edit the article, go ahead. Welcome to wikipedia, btw. :)--CyberGhostface 04:59, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

I don't think the article is necessarily "bad" it just doesn’t seem very encyclopedic to me.Red VonMunster 07:44, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Oh, and thanks for the welcome. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Red VonMunster (talk • contribs) 07:45, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm going to change the part in the section "Backwoods Horror" pertaining to

"Though most backwoods slasher flicks involve no element of the supernatural, House of 1000 Corpses does utilize some stylistic elements similar to the Evil Dead series to give some of its villains a supernatural vibe."

I really see nothing substantial in the film that would lead someone to believe that "House" is substantially similar to any of the Evil Dead movies. I'll wait a bit to see if there are any objections though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Red VonMunster (talk • contribs) 07:58, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
