Talk:House Price Crash
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I added one or two slightly barbed references to HPC's excessive moderation and tendency to ban or censor posters. These were promptly removed by HPC zealots. The basic facts of the entry are correct, but without allowing these criticisms the page becomes a PR puff for HPC rather than a fair view, IMO. Thaliamay 10:54, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Editing of the content to be a non-biased reflection of the reality of HPC.co.uk
I think the current page is a relatively unbiased reflection of the HPC.co.uk forum.
If anyone is going to delete the second section, which I have just restored, can they please enter here a comment justifying why.
Current page lacks objectivity. Suggest title of article should be changed to "Why I am bitter about housepricecrash.co.uk", or these placed in a seperate section on this article with a similar section title.
It seems hard to get to this article. A search on `house price crash' redirects to Real Estate Bubble but coming here by URL works. The URLs look different. In one, each of the three words starts with a capital; don't know if that's significant.
Why does this site merit an article at all? 78.147.109.88 07:55, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- It should be included because as WP:WEB says, "the content itself has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the site itself." JASpencer 20:38, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
Please sign comments people. I'm removing a few lines of this article that are unsourced and biased. There is a paragraph about some thread by a DrBubb - this is not a problem of the site and is unsourced. There is also talk about the subprime US problem - once again hard to turn into a criticism of the site and unsourced. Speedything 13:14, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
