Talk:Hourman (android)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I attempted an edit of this article, doing some grammer edits, trimming, etc. for the first 3rd of it. To be frank, I don't know enough about the subject matter (not being a comic book fan) to be of much use. I suggest a comic book Guru go over this, doing a great deal of trimming to summerize the information contained within. It's far longer than it needs to be. The subject headings don't make much sense. Are these comic books he appeared in, or series or what? It's unclear. Some exposition would be useful. The addition of some information regarding the comic book details of the character would be wise as well (what issues he appeared in, the creators, etc.). Also needs sourcing. --Lendorien 21:22, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
- No offense, but if you're not a comic fan, you won't understand it very well, and that's logical, but the subject headers make a lot of sense once you read the stuff they detail. It mostly covers all of Hourman's vital character moments, and should therefore not be shortened to anything.
- I appreciate the looking out for grammar edits and stuff, but I don't think this article requires as much cleaning up as you think. I will see about sourcing some of the stuff though and thanks for the help. Kusonaga 06:18, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Monthly series?
I'm not very good at summery, but it strikes me as odd that the "His own series" section is pretty much a short recap of the first 2 issues. Not so much as a mention of Bethany? Of all the supporting cast, surely she's important enough to warrent a mention. 172.166.11.97 08:24, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Powers
Why isn't there a powers and abilities section here?
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Hourman3-1.jpg
Image:Hourman3-1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
