McBride gives Hourcast the edge and appeal that sets the bar very high for them, and his live performances set him apart from the band.... The strong production gives way to a soulful edge that is drowned out in near deafening over-production and forced percussion and drum lines on the live album.... The best thing I ever did was go see these guys live... I hope to hear new material sooner than later....
