The Supreme Council of the House of Jacob is a small religious group with churches in forty states and membership numbers around 8-10,000. It is a predominantly African American Christian Church that focuses on a truly spiritual reading of the King James Version of the Holy Bible. The Church is led by a man known as "Father" who is a sort of spiritual guide for the members. The Church is very inclusive to visitors and has a very family-style atmosphere. It is true that they have quite a few rules, but they also have an ethic and moral code that will guide its members to lead a better life.
