In the theater House Lights are any lighting units that illuminate the audience's seats and aisles. They may be built into the architecture of the space, fluorescent lights, scoops, or other Stage lights used as house lights. They are usually controlled in a number of different ways--through a non-dim wall switch, a dimmable wall switch, or through a dimmer controlled through the light board or an architectural lighting control system.
