[edit] History

Hourcast was formed when drummer Jerry Clews began collaborating on song ideas with guitarist Dave Henriquez. The two selected Patrick McBride from numerous vocalists who had auditioned. Clews and Henriquez actually found McBride through a website.[citation needed] Choosing McBride for his powerful melodic vocal style and background in electronic music, he says "I'm lucky to have a Swiss Army knife of vocals I can sing and scream equally well."[citation needed] The line-up was completed with the addition of bassist Dave Sullivan, who is also the brother-in-law of David Falzone, with whom Dave Henriquez has worked in the past.
