[edit] Spam links
I removed two links to commercial sites -- they weren't information, just commercial spam (as far as I can tell).
- Strange, my previous comment here seems to have vanished. Those links are on-topic, and one of them isn't commercial. I replaced them. 24.6.157.14 (talk) 04:58, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- (moved my comment up here since the thread was preexisting)The links in question either contain no content related to foam cutters (as with the german blog) or it is a Commercial site listing distributors for foam. First, foam is not the article topic, it's foam cutters. Second, it seems to be exactly what Wikipedia considers to be external link spam, as per WP:LINKSPAM. If you still feel the links belong, could you please justify your position? Also, according to the history of this page, your above comment was the first one you posted. Your prior comment probably just didn't take; no biggie. -Verdatum (talk) 19:08, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Concrete/plaster molds
Hot-wire foam cutters are used on "Concrete and Plaster molds"? This makes no sense to me. A hot wire would have no effect at all on either material. Without a response, I'll just delete this.-Verdatum (talk) 15:44, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- Molds FOR plaster and concrete. 24.6.157.14 (talk) 04:58, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- ooohh. In that case, the casting medium isn't really the signifigant aspect, it's the mold material that the cutter is cutting, isn't it? What kind of molds are these? I assume they aren't molds made out of foam ;) -Verdatum (talk) 18:56, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, they are made out of foam. Check out some videos on YouTube, and you'll find several examples. 24.6.157.14 (talk) 20:21, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
