Non-free / fair use media rationale for Caesar Cardini
Description

The probably earliest photograph of a Caesar Cardini hotel and restaurant in Tijuana. Postcard collected by Pernel S. Thyseldew, dating early 1920s (therefore historically significant).

  • Note the electric poles which were set up on Main Street by c.1918, but were moved to the back alley soon later. Compare this image to the photograph by unknown tourist, showing electric light but no more poles on Main Street: Main and 2nd, looking North, 1922.
