The Hotel Cafe Tour is the brainchild of Cary Brothers , a North American singersongwriter, who has been a regular performer at the Hotel Cafe venue in Hollywood. Having played in the Hotel Cafe for many years, and enjoyed its relaxed but stimulating culture where artists support each other musically, he suggested taking it on the road. His idea was welcomed by other Hotel Cafe frequenters Steve Reynolds , Brian Wright, Tom McRae and others. For the last 4 years, the Tour has travelled round various venues in the States. In 220, Tom McRae took the Tour to the UK, and in 2008, took it further afield, to continental Europe.
