The 310 room Hotel Beauséjour was opened in 1972 by the Canadian National Railway in the railway hub of Moncton, New Brunswick.
The first class hotel was operated by Canadian National Hotels until that chain was purchased by Canadian Pacific Hotels in 1988. CP Hotels placed the Beauséjour under its Delta Hotels subsidiary in the 1990s and in 1999, CP Hotels and Delta became part of the Fairmont Hotels and Resorts chain.
The hotel currently operates under the Delta banner as the Delta Beauséjour Hotel and has the most rooms of any hotel in the province. The hotel building was recently purchased by Legacy Hotels and is undergoing a major 6 million dollar facelift as of 2008.
