Hotan County

The Hotan County[1] (Uyghur: خوتەن ناھىيىسى‎, Xoten Nahiyisi, Hotən Nah̡iyisi) is a county within the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and is under the administration of the Khotan Prefecture. It contains an area of 41,128 sq km. According to the 2002 census, it has a population of 270,000.
