"Hot Pants Explosion" is the last of five singles taken from The B-52's' album Good Stuff. It did not chart. It was also the least successful of the singles released in Good Stuff. It was the only single by the B-52's to be released in the year 1993. It was one of the last session recordings to feature drummer Jeff Porcaro before his untimely death in 1992. A sticker was released with a limited edition single release, which says "Don't get too close! My hot pants might explode".
