Hot Dollar (born Leon Gray) is a rapper from Compton, California. He is known for his hit single "Streetz On Lock" which samples Tupac's "All Eyes On Me". "Streetz On Lock" has struck a chord with many southern rap and hip hop fans but still remains an underground song with little or no airtime in Mississippi. Hot Dollar included Lil' Wayne, Rick Ross, and Akon on the remix to "Streetz On Lock".
Hot Dollar is working on a new album for early 2008. Some of the songs have a slightly electronic feel. He is currently managed by Jonny "Shipes" Shapiro from Cinematic Music Group.[1]
