Hot and Spicy Beanburger is the fourth studio album by Dread Zeppelin, released in 1993. This album is know mainly for “the return of of Tortelvis” who was not on the previous album It's Not Unusual (criticized by many fans due to a sharp turn into Disco territory).
Hot and spicy beanburger brings back the sound of “Led Zeppelin in a reggae style”, with (of course) a great Elvis voice.
The album brings numerous new Led Zeppelin cover songs, such as "Good Times Bad Times", "Going to California" and "Hot Dog".
The album has two non Led Zeppelin songs: "Unchained Melody" and "Good Rocking Tonight", a song also covered by Robert Plant on his album The Honeydrippers: Volume One under the name "Rockin' at Midnight".
Like on 5,000,000 the album brings a few songs by Dread Zeppelin themselves: “The Ballad of Charlie Haj” about the band member Charlie Haj “the man that hands Tortelvis his water and towel on stage” a running gag in all of Dread Zeppelin album credits and live shows. Also the song “Hot and Spicy Beanburger” described by Tortelvis as “a kind of informal session with this recording thing we’re gonna do with some friends of mine”.

The leaflet list songs and credits using a strange font composed of all kinds of characters (like "βallad of ¢hĀrlie Häј" see cover for sample), generally ignoring upper case, with a background of burger bread, a picture of the band members (in costume) placed on lettuce and tomatoes as if condiments. A quote states: “Hot & spicy beanburger is a tasty tid-bit o’love… A plentiful portion O’peace… A royal repast set before the king.” Credited to “Unknown Eastern Mystic (1956)”.
