Talk:Hostmask
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Maybe this article should deal with cloaking? Some IRC servers have hostmask cloaking (usermode +x) to provide anonymity and protection to users. Example, moo754-436.example.com would become become clk657456347.example.com and 127.0.0.1 would be come 127.0.0.* or something. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Frap (talk • contribs) 03:50, 12 April 2006
