Talk:Hospital Broadcasting Association

[edit] Notability

The HBA appears to be an organisation that hospital radio stations pay a membership fee to. There doesn't appear to be any evidence that the HBA has performed any notable acts or is likely to be known by any member of the public. It also appears to be have been created/edited by one user (who has not created/edited any other articles). 86.145.28.201 (talk) 22:12, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Anything that makes hospital more hospitable must surely be notable to the thousands of people involved. Wouldn't a more objective evaluation require original research and break the NOR rule? One research question might be: "Would local hospital radio have been as successful without national organisational support?" or "To what extent can hospital radio in the UK be considered a success and what factors have contributed to this?" --Northernhenge (talk) 22:49, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Commercial interest

Clearly 86.145.28.201 objects to this page (and Kingstown Radio‎ and Radio Northwick Park‎) but I can't really see how it's different from other pages that relate to commercial organisations. Off the top of my head, examples include Sainsbury's, Centerparcs, Corus Group and Hull Trains amongst many many others. What is the specific problem with the HBA entry? --Northernhenge (talk) 22:49, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
