- Hi there Hornplayer; a high school band is subject to the same notability standards that any article would be. If your high school band is particularly known for doing something, and was covered in newspapers or other third-party sources, then a separate article might be appropriate. However, more than likely, a band would deserve a sentence in the article of the school.
