[edit] Accuracy concerns

I have a few problems with the family tree and we'll see how that goes. The first problem is that they never did reveal Tom's parents name on the show. I would like to know where that information came from. Second is Tom's birthdate. You have it listed from "(1989-94; deceased)", but he was born in 1911. Third is David Martin's death date. Several sites, but one notable site, lists it as being that he was killed in 1967, but it's not there. I have more edits that I feel should be made, ut we'll just start out with these 3. See if you can get others to agree otherwise the article stands. KellyAna (talk) 05:18, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
OK. So, if anybody comes to this page, can they please lend their opinion on these changes! Help would be appreciated! Genevieve-Tamerlaine (talk) 05:30, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Trolling for opinions as was done is against guidelines. KellyAna (talk) 05:34, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Then how do we get opinions? We just wait? Genevieve-Tamerlaine (talk) 05:36, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Exactly!!! You troll for opinions and you violate policy. You just have to sit and wait. Your comments to SoV and Onorem are against policy. You just have to wait and see what happens. KellyAna (talk) 05:40, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Sorry. I don't have time to read very single rule. I got some of them, though I lnow that isn't an excuse. Genevieve-Tamerlaine (talk) 05:44, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Apparently you don't have time to consider spelling either. You just have to wait and get comments and not violate rules. KellyAna (talk) 05:48, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
First, dates of birth are going to be removed if they did not occur on screen, easy enough there. Second, you claim "notable site" yet you don't list what said site is. You must do that in order to prove notable. Third, I'm going to look over other family trees as Genevieve-Tamerlaine has already vandalized other trees in her prior incarnation so I'd like to see how other shows do them before judging certain aspects. The sourcing for the tree needs to be NBC or Sony to be truly viable as a notable site or from the official book. As far as I can see, the page is accurate but I'll do some more checking. Before you choose to use soapcentral.com as a reference, see this page [1] as to why they do not count as a legitimate, notable source. I have looked at several pages of families and talked to project members and am removing all non-verifiable dates and adding actual seen on screen dates of birth and death. Quite honestly, most pages do not have a family tree and I'm considering removing this one after a round of discussions. As it stands, I'm attempting to clean it up and remove the redundant dates. IrishLass (talk) 15:09, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Then I'd rather that the tree be deleted because we don't need a detailed lineage of how they all work. Genevieve-Tamerlaine (talk) 15:49, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
You don't have an individual say. Projects work on consensus decision. You may voice your opinion and it will be taken into account, but you may not single handedly make a project wide decision. IrishLass (talk) 16:12, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
