Gosh....that´s REALLY encyclopedic.....

What's with all the indecipherable acronyms and abbreviations on this page? Why not spell them all out? PMcM 01:28, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, I hate the tendency to use abrvtns. Not everyone knows that the "Quart. J. Math. Oxford" is the "Quarterly Journal of Mathematics, Oxford Series", for example. Dbenbenn 02:17, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Managed to to figure out the important ones I think, and 'edit' into oblivion a few of the others. I think it looks better as it is now, but won't mind of some of what I purged creeps back in. PMcM 02:19, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Still don't know what the &c after his name is for. Any ideas anyone? PMcM 00:15, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)

&c. is an older way of writing etc. See et cetera. Dbenbenn 00:33, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Aah, interesting! Thanks. PMcM 00:24, 11 Jan 2005 (UTC)
